Services

Six disciplines, one point of contact.

Engage one, or hand over the storefront entirely. Most relationships begin with an audit and settle into a monthly retainer.

I

Theme & build

Complete storefronts from an empty admin, or considered edits to the theme you already run. Written into the theme rather than layered on with another app.

  • Liquid templates & sections
  • Horizon, Dawn, OS 2.0
  • Landing pages
II

Catalog & data

Product data that holds up under growth. Bulk imports, variant clean-up, structured attributes and the collections that sit on top of them.

  • Matrixify
  • Metafields & metaobjects
  • Search & Discovery
III

Store operations

Orders, inventory levels, refunds and the customer inbox. The daily work that keeps a store trustworthy, done before you open the admin.

  • Order & refund support
  • Inventory management
  • Customer correspondence
IV

Performance

Identify what genuinely slows the storefront, then correct it in the theme. Images, render-blocking scripts, layout shift, and the apps quietly costing conversions.

  • LCP · INP · CLS
  • Script & image audit
  • App reduction
V

Search & AI visibility

Traditional on-page SEO, alongside the newer requirement: being the brand that AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity choose to cite.

  • JSON-LD schema
  • AEO & GEO
  • Collection architecture
VI

Automation

Shopify Flow for repetitive work, payment gateways and checkout configured correctly, third-party apps wired to communicate rather than conflict.

  • Shopify Flow
  • ManyChat
  • Checkout & gateways
Selected work

Two storefronts, start to finish.

Taste Culinary Food

A Philippine café-ingredient distributor moving from a physical shop to a complete storefront. Built from an empty admin: custom Liquid templates across product, collection and landing pages, dedicated brand pages for Catcher Gourmet, Toschi and Cafetto, payment gateways and checkout configured, metafields structuring every product attribute, and a browser-based inventory reconciliation tool built to order.

Adahlia Boutique

A UK modern-luxury womenswear label. Ongoing theme development and a rolling audit programme delivered through a GitHub-connected deploy pipeline, holding a single design system consistent across every section of the storefront while the catalogue continues to change beneath it.

About

Two years on the inside, spent learning where stores break.

From April 2024 to April 2026 I worked inside Shopify as technical merchant support, front line for merchants worldwide. Themes, apps, payments, checkout, DNS, domains, gateway failures. When something broke badly enough, it reached my queue.

The work taught me where stores actually fail, which is seldom where the owner suspects. I now do the correcting directly, freelance, for a deliberately small number of founders and teams who need someone able to read Liquid and answer a customer email in the same afternoon.

I work from Olongapo City in the Philippines, overlap comfortably with US, UK and Australian hours, and use Claude Code and AI-assisted workflows throughout, which makes the turnaround faster than the rate would suggest.
